Patricia is a first-generation Hispanic raised in Fort Bend County. Daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Garcia, a well-known family in the county. Being the oldest of four children, she has two sisters and a brother. Patricia is happily married to her husband and has an energetic loving son.
She became a Fort Bend County Employee in 2012 working in the Tax Assessor's Office, and then the County Clerk's Office to further expand her knowledge of how the county operates. After some years she decided to transfer to the Justice Court in 2018. Realizing that is where she longed to be, in the People's Court. Patricia has continued to be part of the Justice Court as she helped establish a new Justice of the Peace Court in 2022.
As a case manager in a JP Court she has extensive knowledge of both civil and criminal matters. From her comprehension of the Texas Criminal Procedures and the Texas Civil Code of Procedures she is able to keep a court functioning. Patricia enjoys serving the community, and being fluent in Spanish helps her serve the Hispanic Community.
